About Smoky
Smoky, occasionally spelled Smokey, was a dog who became the mascot of the 1932 Summer Olympics, specifically heralded by the approximately 2000 residents of the Olympic Village in Los Angeles. Smoky is sometimes considered the first Olympic mascot.
