About Te Whare Tīwekaweka
Te Whare Tīwekaweka is the fourth studio album by Marlon Williams. It is Williams' first album to be sung entirely in te reo Māori, representing part of his five-year journey to reclaim his ability in the language. The album features the Yarra Benders, long-time collaborators and touring band of Williams, as well as a range of other New Zealand artists including Lorde and Lyttelton-based KOMMI, the latter of whom was heavily involved in the album and supporting Williams with te reo Māori.
