Djokovic Upset by Tirante in Cincinnati Heat
Thiago Tirante upset Novak Djokovic in Cincinnati with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory, snapping Djokovic’s 10-match Cincinnati winning streak as both players battled heat and cramps in a grueling bout. The win sets Tirante up to face Martin Landaluce, with the current and recent Cincinnati champions all eliminated from the event, underscoring Djokovic’s endurance concerns ahead of the US Open.
