Thomas Stanley, 1st Earl of Derby, KG was an English nobleman. He was the stepfather of Henry VII of England through his marriage to the King's mother, Lady Margaret Beaufort. He was the eldest son of Thomas Stanley, 1st Baron Stanley and Joan Goushill.
