About VIVI
VIVI was a Japanese postwar avant-garde photography collective founded in Nagoya in 1947 by Kansuke Yamamoto, Keiichirō Gotō, Minayoshi Takada, and Yoshifumi Hattori. Photography historian Ryūichi Kaneko describes VIVI as the first postwar photographic collective in Nagoya.
