Pawleys Island Girl Found Dead; Tracking Device Not Worn, Sheriff Says
Georgetown County and Virginia authorities say 5-year-old Saylor Hayes, who had been enrolled in the Project Lifesaver program, was not wearing her transmitter when she went missing near Pawleys Island and the device was later found at a Virginia residence; officials say the system could have aided an earlier search.
