12-Foot Skelly Becomes American Halloween Fixture

Home Depot’s 12-foot, 90-pound Halloween skeleton, nicknamed Skelly, emerged in 2020 and quickly became a sought-after fixture on American lawns and porches. Owners have kept it up year-round, dressing it for holidays and seasons beyond Halloween, while the product line has expanded to include smaller figures, pets and interactive features. A Home Depot holiday merchant attributes its appeal to nostalgia, neighborhood connection and the draw of oversized decorations.
