First Trust Grows Baker Hughes Stake 4%
First Trust Advisors LP increased its stake in Baker Hughes by 4.0% in the first quarter, holding 9,663,737 shares worth about $589.97 million, while Baker Hughes CEO Lorenzo Simonelli sold 181,411 shares in late June. The firm also boosted its position in United Parcel Service by 37.4% in the same quarter to 3,631,133 shares, valued at approximately $357.23 million. Conversely, First Trust trimmed its eBay stake by 28.6% to 3,596,262 shares, valued at roughly $327.33 million. It added to Analog Devices modestly, increasing holdings by 0.7% to 1,008,833 shares, worth about $320.95 million. The newest move showed a larger stake in Chevron, rising 4.2% to 4,278,833 shares, valued at about $885.29 million. Across these positions, First Trust continues to actively rebalance large-cap holdings across energy, logistics, tech, and consumer platforms.
