JioStar reports India rights for The Hundred 2026
JioStar has secured exclusive linear and digital rights in India for The Hundred 2026, covering both the Men’s and Women’s competitions, with all 68 matches available on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network. The sixth edition begins July 21 with a double‑header at The Oval, featuring MI London vs SunRisers Leeds in both the women’s and men’s games. Several franchises have been rebranded this season, including Oval Invincibles becoming MI London, Northern Superchargers as SunRisers Leeds, and Manchester Originals as Manchester Super Giants. The tournaments will feature a mix of renowned international stars and leading Indian players, such as Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Rashid Khan, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, and Jemimah Rodrigues. JioStar executives describe The Hundred as a premier, innovative cricket format and see the India rights deal as a strategic move to grow subscribers and engage Indian fans across screens. These agreements were reported across multiple outlets, all confirming the same rights deal and broadcast plan.
