Samsung, LG Sweep Energy Winner Awards, Set Record
Samsung Electronics dominated the 29th Energy Winner Awards, claiming the Energy Grand Prize for the eighth consecutive year and earning a total of ten awards, highlighted by the Bespoke AI WindFree Combo Gallery Pro which uses motion sensing to enable a significant absence power-saving feature and a Comfort Dehumidification function that trims energy use. The Infinite Line hood-integrated induction cooktop won the Energy Technology Award, delivering up to 7,400 watts while maintaining top-tier efficiency and smart adjustment based on air-quality sensing. Samsung also recognized several other flagship products, including the EHS Heat Pump Boiler and Bespoke AI appliances, as it continues to push AI-powered energy efficiency. LG Electronics extended its own winning streak, securing twelve prizes, including three Grand Prizes, to mark a tenth straight year as the industry’s most awarded company. The event, organized by the Consumer Citizens' Association and supported by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and the Korea Energy Agency, underscored a growing emphasis on AI-driven efficiency across home appliances and displays.
