30 Sundays reports $6.7 million Series A to fund AI travel expansion
30 Sundays, an AI-native travel-planning platform, raised ₹61 crore (about $6.7 million) in a Series A led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Info Edge Ventures and Eximius Ventures, bringing its total funding to about $7.5 million. The funds will bolster its product, technology and AI capabilities, support brand building, and fuel expansion into new international markets. The company has scaled to an annualised gross booking value run rate of around ₹200 crore across Bali, Vietnam, the Maldives and Thailand, with recent launches in New Zealand and Mauritius and plans to enter Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and the Philippines. It automates travel planning and bookings via AI, offering a video-based itinerary and on-trip concierge with AI chat support, aiming to replace traditional travel-agency workflows. Founders Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj Punjani say the platform provides fully transparent pricing and a personalized trip design, while the investment partners highlight AI-driven discovery, planning and support with human involvement. The company targets both couples and families, growing in India’s outbound leisure market, and claims improved sales team productivity through AI-enabled processes.
