Air Force One Flyover Delays 200+ Flights

A low-altitude Air Force One flyover during the White House Halloween celebration disrupted air traffic around Washington, prompting a temporary halt at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and delaying more than 200 flights. The limited advance notice drew criticism, with Sen. Tammy Duckworth seeking answers from federal aviation and defense officials about the planning and coordination. Separately, AIRO Group announced its first U.S. government order for its RQ-35 and RQ-70 unmanned aircraft systems, following the RQ-35’s clearance for procurement by government agencies.
