IIFL Finance Q1 Profit Surges 189%
IIFL Finance reported a very strong Q1 FY27, with consolidated net profit jumping about 160% year-on-year to approximately ₹713 crore, while total income rose around one-third. The company also showed robust interest income, which increased by about 44% to roughly ₹3,723 crore for the quarter. Assets under management climbed 38% year-on-year to about ₹1,15,523 crore, led by gold loans that surged over 110% to ₹58,406 crore. In the quarter, the firm highlighted healthy asset quality with low NPAs, even as it noted strengthening capital adequacy metrics and a plan to raise additional equity; CFO Vikas Jain, who recently joined, underscored the platform’s growth trajectory. Market reaction saw the stock trading near the ₹570 level in the session following the results. The company also announced ongoing plans to support growth, including an equity capital raise and continued focus on secured lending, with gold loans remaining a key driver of AUM growth.
