Batliboi’s EEG division won a ₹52 crore contract from SAEL Industries to design, supply, install and commission a PEX system for SAEL’s 6 GW solar cell line at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The project is expected to be commissioned within six to eight months and follows the division’s prior PEX work for Adani Mundra Solar. The deal marks a significant step in Batliboi’s expansion into the solar manufacturing supply chain and aligns with India’s push for indigenous solar manufacturing. The company stated the contract is a domestic order with no related-party involvement and that promoter groups have no stake in SAEL. Managing Director Sanjiv Joshi framed the win as a testament to Batliboi’s technical capabilities and potential to boost growth and shareholder value. Separately, Batliboi announced its 82nd AGM for August 7, 2026, with proposed dividend details and remittance logistics, signaling ongoing governance and shareholder returns.
