Circle CFO Fox-Geen plans 2026 departure

Circle Internet Group said on Sept. 25, 2026 that CFO Jeremy Fox-Geen plans to step down. He will stay through the end of December 2026, or until a successor is appointed sooner. Fox-Geen joined in May 2021 and helped navigate the firm's $1.2 billion IPO last year. Circle has begun a search with an executive search firm. CEO Jeremy Allaire said Fox-Geen brought strategic insight, financial leadership, and operating discipline through periods of both market turmoil and tremendous growth. Fox-Geen said that having achieved many milestones, it is now the right time for me to step down and take a break before my next chapter. The company also disclosed that co-founder Sean Neville stepped down as a director effective immediately for personal reasons, calling the move part of an orderly board refreshment in a regulatory filing. Circle issues USDC, with a market capitalization of about $75 billion per CoinMarketCap. Circle's market capitalization is $22.71 billion. Its trailing P/E is 53.55x, against a 5-year median of 59.68x. Insiders sold $319.5 million in shares over the past 12 months with no purchases.
