Alkane Resources Plans Maiden Dividend Amid Record Cash
Alkane Resources reported FY26 production of 168,337 gold equivalent ounces, placing annual output in the top half of its guidance, with a fourth-quarter output of 42,491 gold equivalent ounces and an all-in sustaining cost of $3,011 per ounce. The company also posted a record quarterly cash flow of $174 million, strengthening its balance sheet to $454 million in cash, bullion and listed investments, and announced its first-ever dividend of 2 cents per share fully franked. Across its three mines—Tomingley, Costerfield, and Björkdal—the portfolio delivered diversified output, while full-year guidance for FY27 targets 163,000–177,000 gold equivalent ounces at an AISC of $2,900–$3,200 per ounce. Alkane also noted exploration progress at the Northern Molong Porphyry Project and a recent drilling push at Brunswick South with promising antimony and gold results. The company reiterated a positive outlook, signaling continued cash generation and shareholder returns alongside ongoing growth initiatives.
