Fireworks Explode Near Army Helicopter at Seahawks Game

Fireworks exploded close to the last of four U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters flying over Seattle’s Lumen Field before the Seahawks-Bears game, prompting gasps from the crowd and concern online about a potentially dangerous timing error. The helicopter continued flying, and reports said no damage to the aircraft or crew was confirmed; available footage does not establish whether it was struck. The Seahawks lost 34-17 to Chicago.
