Gator Task Force Targets North Louisiana Crime, Drugs

Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies have launched the Gator Task Force to combat violent crime and drug trafficking in North Louisiana. Led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana and the FBI’s New Orleans Field Office, the initiative will coordinate resources to pursue violent offenders and fugitives and dismantle street gangs. Participating and supporting agencies include Louisiana state and local law enforcement, the DEA, Homeland Security Investigations and the state Attorney General’s Office.
