Green Lake woman faces second-degree murder charge
A 47-year-old Green Lake woman, Angela Kusnezoff, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of 46-year-old Michael Lafond in Green Lake, Saskatchewan, after police responded to a report of an injured man on July 21 around 10:35 p.m. Lafond was found outside a business on McIntosh Avenue and EMS declared him dead; his family has been notified and victim services made available. The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Homicide Investigation Unit took over the case, and Kusnezoff was arrested in Green Lake and scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on July 23.
