Kinder Morgan posts record Q2 earnings, raises guidance
Kinder Morgan reported strong Q2 2026 results with adjusted EPS of $0.37 and revenue of $4.48 billion, up from a year earlier, and net income of $867 million, a 21% rise. Adjusted EBITDA rose to a record $2.20 billion, with year-over-year increases of 12% in EBITDA and 32% in EPS, reflecting solid performance across segments driven by LNG deliveries and higher natural gas volumes. The company increased full-year guidance, projecting more than 5% above budget for Adjusted EBITDA and more than 12% for Adjusted EPS, and placed about $660 million of expansions into service, with a backlog of $9.6 billion. Kinder Morgan also raised its quarterly dividend to $0.2975 per share, a 2% year-over-year increase, and reiterated a target debt-to-Adjusted EBITDA of around 3.6x. The results come amid ongoing energy infrastructure activity and favorable demand for natural gas and LNG, with analysts keeping a range of rating perspectives as the stock moves in response to cyclicality in the sector.
