Lumentum shares drop as funds trim holdings
Multiple hedge funds and institutional investors reduced their stakes in Lumentum Holdings in the latest quarter, signaling a broad shift in ownership amid a high concentration of ownership by institutions. Dimensional Fund Advisors cut its LITE position by 29.2%, while Himension Capital Singapore PTE. LTD. trimmed its stake by 35.3%, and Baader Bank Aktiengesellschaft decreased its holding by 16.0%, reflecting cautious positioning by several long-standing holders. Andar Capital Management HK Ltd reduced its position by 6.2%, with Florida Financial Advisors LLC logging a 23.3% decline; together these moves accompany continued diversification among major buyers such as Temasek, ABN Amro, PNC Financial Services, Oslo Pensjonsforsikring, Titan Global Capital, and others, who remain active in the stock. Despite these reductions, institutional investors still own roughly 94% of the company’s stock, underscoring the stock’s entrenched role in large portfolios as analysts note ongoing coverage and price targets from various firms. The shares have shown notable movement and investors are balancing profit-taking with ongoing interest from new and existing buyers.
