A Maryland juvenile led Virginia State Police on a high-speed pursuit through Fairfax and Prince William counties in the early hours of the night after a stolen vehicle was detected, with speeds exceeding 130 mph. The chase began after a traffic stop attempt on I-395 in Fairfax and continued onto I-95, where the vehicle exited at Exit 150 and struck an uninvolved car. During a box-in maneuver, the suspect rammed a Virginia State Police cruiser, pushing it into a concrete jersey barrier before the vehicle stopped about 100 yards later. The driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation and then to Fairfax County Juvenile Intake, while four passengers, including an 18-year-old and three juveniles, were released without charges.
