Pavia Visits Colorado, Seeks Sanders Opportunity
Former Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia, who was waived by the Baltimore Ravens after going undrafted and remains without an NFL team, visited Boulder to support Deion Sanders and Colorado. Pavia said he wished he could play for Sanders and credited the coach’s earlier offer at Jackson State with helping open other opportunities. He ultimately chose New Mexico State after Sanders told him he would likely be a backup behind Shedeur Sanders, but Pavia said there is no bad blood and thanked Sanders and his son for treating him like family. Sanders responded publicly with an affectionate message of support.
