Rangers have completed the signing of 20-year-old Serbian midfielder Vanja Dragojevic from Partizan Belgrade on a four-year deal, with an option for a further year, for an undisclosed fee. Dragojevic, who captained Partizan at a young age and made 41 appearances last season, is described as having huge potential and leadership qualities, with a release clause reported at £12.75 million. He has two caps for Serbia and debuted internationally against Cape Verde earlier this year. The move makes him Rangers’ seventh signing of the summer, and manager Derek McInnes says he is excited to add a player of Dragojevic’s profile to the squad. Dragojevic has progressed through Partizan’s youth system and also appeared in European competition for the club, reinforcing his growing reputation ahead of his move to Ibrox. He will join a growing group of new signings as Rangers prepare for the new season, including games against West Ham in pre-season ahead of the campaign.
