Reckitt Benckiser has agreed to divest its Russian Hygiene business to Arnest Management LLC, with completion anticipated in the second half of 2026, while retaining its Russia Health operations. The Hygiene unit accounted for about 1% of Reckitt’s core net revenue in 2025, suggesting the disposal will have limited impact on overall sales. The division is now being treated as Held for Sale, and Reckitt expects a post-tax loss of around £175 million for 2026, largely due to sanctions-related headwinds and exit costs. The company notes the divestment is not expected to materially affect Group Adjusted Operating Profit or Adjusted EPS in 2026. The sale follows Reckitt’s long-running process since the Ukraine invasion to exit or restructure its Russian presence, including keeping a health-focused footprint in the country. Arnest is led by Alexey Sagal, whose track record includes acquiring assets from departing Western firms, and the deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
