BC SPCA launches record $1.9M lottery
The BC SPCA launched its biggest 50/50 Lottery for Animals in Need with a top prize of up to $1.9 million, running a July 21 start with tickets at $15, three for $40, or six for $60 and closing September 18, to fund animal care and protective services after helping about 135,000 animals in 2025. Past winners have hailed from across British Columbia, and organizers say the draw supports medical care, investigations, and pet-family programs through the funds.
