Wistron Opens $700M Texas AI Factory for Nvidia
Wistron opened its first U.S. factory in Fort Worth, Texas—a $700 million, 324,000-square-foot facility that currently produces Nvidia’s GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Superchip and will later manufacture the Vera Rubin Superchip, lifting the stock and signaling a push by Taiwanese manufacturers to expand U.S. AI infrastructure and strengthen Nvidia’s domestic supply chain. The project underscores growing global demand for AI factories and Nvidia’s DSX vision, with automation, local operations, and energy-efficient manufacturing as core features and a potential multiplier for jobs and regional AI capabilities.
