IIT Roorkee clarifies routine advisory not new policy
IIT Roorkee says an advisory circulating on social media about students’ political expression is a routine internal communication issued at the start of each academic session and not a new directive or policy, issued in line with existing conduct rules. The institute urged people not to misinterpret the advisory, reiterating it reflects ongoing norms rather than any change in policy.
