Ten Dumps 10 News+ Weeknights, Expands 5pm Bulletins

Network 10 is scrapping 10 News+ from weeknights and moving it to Sunday nights, while expanding the 5pm local news bulletin to 90 minutes from August 10 to boost local reporting amid the show’s poor ratings. The Sunday 6.30pm edition of 10 News+ will continue with hosts Amelia Brace and Denham Hitchcock, as staff remain largely unchanged and management says the changes will reduce workload and focus on stronger local coverage.
