PWHL Plans First All-Star Tournament in Toronto

The Professional Women’s Hockey League will stage its first league-run All-Star event on March 7, 2027, at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, where the league played its first game in 2024. Four 10-player teams—Canada, the United States, international players and rookies—will compete in a three-on-three round robin; the top team will advance directly to the final, while the second- and third-ranked teams will meet in a semifinal. Fans, players and media will help select starters, and league hockey operations will choose reserves. The event will be broadcast in the United States on ION and in Canada on TSN and Radio-Canada, with fan and community activities also planned. It will take place as the PWHL expands to 12 teams for the 2026–27 season.
