Penn State analyst Jack Ham hospitalized after emergency
Penn State football legend and longtime radio analyst Jack Ham, 77, was hospitalized in Seattle after experiencing a medical emergency before the Nittany Lions’ game against Washington. Penn State said he was taken to the University of Washington Medical Center, where he was being treated, but provided no further information about his condition. Ham played linebacker at Penn State before a 12-season career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning four Super Bowls and earning six first-team All-Pro selections. A Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, he has worked as a Penn State radio analyst since 2000; broadcast partner Steve Jones called the game solo.
