Walmart Revives $35 Holiday Meal Basket at Lowest Price Since 2022

Walmart on Oct. 28 set its Holiday Meal Basket at $35 for up to 10 people, about $3.50 per person—the lowest since the program began in 2022. The 26 items include a Butterball turkey at 97 cents per pound (about 13.5 pounds) plus Stove Top stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, green bean casserole with Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup, corn casserole with Jiffy corn muffin mix, sweet potato casserole with Jet-Puffed mini marshmallows, and pumpkin pie with whipped topping. It is sold in stores and online through Dec. 24, 2026, with free Express Delivery through Nov. 30, 2026. Walmart says the basket has 18% more items than last year and costs 12% less than buying the same items individually a year ago. After Aldi offered Thanksgiving dinner for 10 under $39 and Winn-Dixie offered two holiday meals under $40, Walmart priced below both.
