WNBA Rookie Jordan Harrison Retires After One Season

Portland Fire guard Jordan Harrison, 22, announced she is stepping away from basketball after her rookie WNBA season, saying on Instagram that she feels called to a new chapter in her life. Undrafted in 2026, she earned a training-camp contract and a place on Portland’s roster, appearing in 16 games and averaging 5.1 points and 4.2 assists. Harrison previously played college basketball at West Virginia, where she earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year honors.
