Not who you're looking for? Others named Boys: 2003 Tamil film directed by S. Shankar · Australian hard rock band · 1990 film directed by Renita Grigoryeva · 2020 studio album by Dean Brody
"Boys" is a song by American singer Britney Spears from her self-titled third studio album (2001). It was written and produced by Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams (known collectively as The Neptunes). A version of the song titled "The Co-Ed Remix" and featuring guest vocals from Williams was released as the fifth single from Britney on June 24, 2002. The new version also served as the second single from the soundtrack of Austin Powers in Goldmember. "Boys" is a R&B and hip hop song, including funk influences. The remix carries a slower tempo than the album version, and both versions were noted by critics to be reminiscent of music by American artist Janet Jackson. Some critics praised Spears and Williams' chemistry, as well as the production on the track, while others did not think the song worked well.
“School boys and discipline are almost by definition at odds with one another.”
“Boys always play better when they know the girls are watching.”
“Boys everywhere are quick to recognize and respect any kind of talent in each other, and one of Will Rogers' best talents was talking.”
“Every boy needs schooling in virtues in order to become a great man. And any parent can school him because at the heart of virtue is masculine intuition. Parents don't have to construct the virtues and then pour then into the heart of their son. The virtues are there, but in small fragments that must be cleaned, shaped, and polished.”
“Boys and girls should be taught respect for each other's liberty; they should be made to feel that nothing gives one human being rights over another, and that jealousy and possessiveness kill love.”
“Macte nova virtute, puer, sic itur ad astra.”
