Sanders Denies Reported $50,000 Offers to Silence Critics
Deion Sanders said a reported $50,000 offer for critics to stop mentioning him was a joke about people profiting from his name, and denied that he would actually pay anyone to stay silent. The claim came from his videographer, Christopher “Uncle Neely” Neely, as Colorado struggled through a five-game losing streak; no public evidence of an offer has emerged.
