Dmytro Ivanovych Vyshnevetsky was a Ruthenian magnate of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. He established the Khortytsia Castle as a stronghold on the Small Khortytsia Island. He was also known as Baida in Ukrainian folk songs.
