Tom Nolan rallied from Renato Moicano’s early grappling control to stop the Brazilian with ground-and-pound in the third round of UFC Vegas 123, earning the biggest win of his career. The result was clouded by criticism of referee Dan Miragliotta’s second-round stand-up, which interrupted Moicano’s back control and shifted the fight’s momentum.
