Prisoner is an Australian television soap opera, which was broadcast on Network Ten from 1979 until 1987. The following is a list of inmates of the fictional Wentworth Detention Centre. Episode numbers cited are first and last appearances; many characters were absent for long periods of time before returning. Character appearances in recaps are not included if they died in the previous episode, unless their body is seen at the beginning of the next episode.
