About Geoffrey Jackson

Sir Geoffrey Holt Seymour Jackson was a British diplomat and writer. In 1971, during his tenure as British ambassador to Uruguay, he was kidnapped by the Tupamaros guerrillas and ultimately released after eight months of captivity.
