Ismihan Sultan was an Ottoman princess, daughter of Sultan Selim II and his chief consort, Haseki Sultan and legal wife Nurbanu Sultan. She was the granddaughter of Suleiman the Magnificent and his favourite consort Hürrem Sultan, sister of Sultan Murad III and the aunt of Sultan Mehmed III. She was the wife of the renowned Ottoman Grand Vizier Sokollu Mehmed Pasha.
