Jaimito the Mailman, also known in English as Manny the Mailman, and whose real name is Jaime Garabito, is a fictional character of the Mexican television sitcom series El Chavo del Ocho. A native of Tangamandapio, a small town in the state of Michoacán, Jaimito is an elderly and lazy man who works as a mailman delivering notifications and letters in Mexico City. His lack of motivation in his work and his allegations that fatigue affects him result in Jaimito being deeply involved with the neighbours of the vecindad.
