Jan Hendrikus Cornelis van Zanen is a Dutch politician who has served as Mayor of The Hague since 1 July 2020. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he previously served as Mayor of Utrecht (2014–2020) and Amstelveen (2005–2013). Jan van Zanen also was national chairman of the VVD (2003–2008). He was president of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG) from 2015 until 2023 and was subsequently appointed honorary chairman of the organisation.
