Juan María Atutxa Mendiola is a politician from the Basque Country with a nationalist ideology. A member of the Basque Nationalist Party, he was Head of the Department of Interior (1991–98) and President of the Basque Parliament (1998–2005). He heads the Sabino Arana foundation.
