Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, the Democratic gubernatorial nominee, has chosen Jefferson County Commissioner Lesley Dahlkemper as his running mate, highlighting her record on opioid funding, infrastructure, and public safety. The campaign portrays the pick as a move to ensure local governments have a seat at the table, while Republican Victor Marx has not announced a running mate as the race shapes up for November.
