Klopka

Klopka (English: The Trap, ) is a 2007 psychological thriller film directed by Srdan Golubović, based on the novel of the same name, written by Nenad Teofilović. The film is a neo-noir piece that explores the age old question of how far a parent is willing to go to help an ailing child. Simultaneously, it also deals with the issues and challenges faced by the people living in post-Milošević Serbian society. Plot Intro The film opens with Mladen Pavlović (Nebojša Glogovac), sporting bumps and bruises on his face, nervously smoking a cigarette while talking to unrevealed individual(s). Among other things, he says that he is trying to "do this one thing right, after a series of wrongs that never should have happened".
