Maharaja Sir Madhorao Scindia I of Gwalior, was the 6th Maharaja of Gwalior belonging to the Scindia dynasty of the Marathas. He was one of the most visionary and progressive rulers of the Scindia Dynasty and an influential investor who invested his wealth in different companies more prominently TISCO that helped Tatas grow rapidly in their business expansion. He invested in multiple shares and hold dividends in many Indian companies which made him the only ruler having investments as shares and bonds in multiple companies during his era.
