Mihnea the Bad was voivode (prince) of Wallachia from 1508 to 1509. He was an illegitimate son of Vlad the Impaler, also known as Dracula, who ruled Wallachia on three occasions during the mid-15th century. According to hostile sources, Mihnea was the son of a minor Wallachian nobleman named Dracea, who may, however, have been his stepfather, having married his mother.
