Mirza Jalal-ud-din Miran Shah Beg, commonly known as Miran Shah, was a son of the Central Asian conqueror Timur, founder of the Timurid Empire. In the Timurid genealogical tradition he carries the laqab Mu'izz al-Din and the kunyas Abu Muhammad and Abu al-Fath, together with the Mongol title kuragan, which reflects his marriage to Urun Sultan Khanika, a daughter of the Chinggisid khan Suyurghatmish.
