Peeblesshire, alternately the County of Peebles, Shire of Peebles or Tweeddale, is a historic county of Scotland. Its county town is Peebles, and it borders Midlothian (historic) to the north, Selkirkshire to the east, Dumfriesshire to the south, and Lanarkshire to the west.
