The People's Movement of Ukraine is a Ukrainian political party and one of the first opposition parties in Soviet Ukraine. It is often simply referred to as the Movement. The party under the name Rukh was an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP) until 2013. It is considered to have played a key role in Ukraine regaining its independence in 1991.
